Progress, Not Perfection

Today should technically be my blog’s 2 year birthday. And I should be really excited about that... right? Wrong. It actually makes me feel a lot like crying. As scared as I have been to let the cat out of the bag on this, I’m way more more tired of dreading this whole project in silence. It’s been two years too long and I just can’t let myself let this one go. I have too much riding on this. Too much pride. Too much hope.

It's been a while...

Wellll, wellll, well... Look what the cat dragged in. Feels like it's been a while since the last time I wrote one of these. Oh right, it has. Let's talk about what it means to be a #twentysomething in today's society; it's not always rainbows and butterflies. My fellow Millennials, #amIright!? I mean, we are looked at by most generations (sometimes even our own) like we need to have our lives together, goals to work toward (both personal and professional), an IG-worthy bod and cool stuff going on behind the scenes that (naturally) we need to share on social media with our followers, who in turn probably believe we actually have perfect lives by the pictures we paint for them. Here's the deal: We do not - I repeat, DO NOT - have it all together.
